Me and my friend Shani did tasks together. But before that we made an appointment by phone first…

Puput   : Halo ..

Shani   : Halo, Puput.. This is me Shani. Can we do our task in this afternoon?

Puput   : Sorry, I can’t. I’m bussy for this afternoon.. How about in this evening?

Shani   :  What time?

Puput   : hmm, about 6 p.m . Can you?

Shani   : Yes, of course I can. Okay Puput, I will call you later. See you

 

Okay guys, a bove is one example in making an appointment, like I did with Shani by phone.

But, do you know what is definition of appointment?

Appoinment tells about agreement for meeting. It is good to make an appointment before you meet someone or the other people.

Making an appointment

• ·         I want to make an appointment to see ……

Accepting an appoinment

• ·         All right, see you there.
• ·         No problem, I’m free on………
• ·         I’ll wait for you
• ·         It’s a deal
• ·         O.K. I’ll be there on time

Accepting an appointment

• ·         I’m sorry. I cant meet you today, I’m very bussy.
• ·         I’m sorry. I have to put off our appoinmant.
• ·         I’m afraid I have to postpone my appointment with you.

Declining an appointment

• ·         I’d love to, but I can’t.
• ·         I’m sorry, I have another appointment.
• ·         I really want to, but I can’t.
• ·         Sorry, I can’t.

Changing an appointment
